Use authoring tools to create effective hypermedia/multimedia instructional materials or products. (AECT 2.4.1) Develop and prepare instructional materials and products for various distance education delivery technologies. (AECT 2.4.2) Use telecommunications tools such as electronic mail and browsing tools for the World Wide Web to develop instructional and professional products. (AECT 2.4.4)
Artifact 1: Shapes Hypermedia Lesson
This is interactive Hypermedia PowerPoint that I created to be used with an Interactive Whiteboard that teaches students about two dimensional geometric shapes. It includes links to videos and interactive online games that students can visit to learn more about shapes. Then students recite a rondo that I created for Music 241 during my undergraduate studies.
Artifact 2: Glogs
This is a Glog I created to review Web 2.0 Tools that are appropriate for young children. It contains images, informational text, hyperlinks and video. I used Glogster, a web browser based service to create these glogs.
Artifact 3: Digital Story
This is a sample Digital Story I created to show my students. I created the images in KidPix and uploaded them to Voicethread, a web browser based service.
Artifact 4: Smile Box Presentation
This is a digital scrapbook that I created using a program called Smilebox. I took these images with a digital camera.
